I am hard at work on new series- Men in various states of play- On top of horses- after hours, in bars etc. I took some photographs of men in historical re-enactments and then others of road construction crews and of course my cowboys.
Mostly I am working in Acrylic as that is the main studio. But I am also working in oil. And I must say that I had contemplated amalgamating but have chosen not to. The environement is far too volatile and my access is far too tenuous! What if it storms and I am unable to get there. What would I do then? What do other people do? What do YOU do?
I love oil painting- the way it moves, stays open to interpretation.... Acrylic is far tighter. How do you negotiate? Mediums? Flow? Retarder?
