Working on several paintings at once- All in various stages of drying- Four old cowboys is underpainted and drying for next layer lower left- Woman on left "Radial Easel" needs final work to ear and small light touches but drying- Painting on floor- hair darks laid in and waiting for mid tones and clothing mid tones-smoothing out of face- particularly lips-
Piece on "Cappelletto" is saturated- I can do no more for at least a week- maybe 10 days- Did not use Walnut Oil- Like long slow process of waiting- It gets me to really enjoy- slow down and think- If I want a faster more visceral experience I go to the Acrylic Studio.
